Canto I

Midway upon the journey of our life…

In Canto I, you take control of Dante, the Sommo Poeta, in a small adventure that reimagines the first canto of the Divine Comedy as a videogame. Finding yourself in the Forest Dark, you’ll need to use all abilities at your disposal to traverse it!

Features

• Spread your wings and overcome every obstacle, bounce on magical books, dash through spike traps and defeat helmet-equipped specters!
• Fun pixelart style that will get a laugh out of you even when you’ll fall into a pit (there are lots of them)
• Rebuild the Canto I — Spread around the four levels, scrolls containing the triplets of Canto I hide. Find them all and read the poem in the menu page!
• Different game modes — play Classic mode for an experience without modifiers, Story mode for a relaxed experience or Hell mode for a real challenge!

How to play

• Movement: Arrow keys or WASD.
• Double jump: Up arrow key or W in the air.
• Attack: C, P or Space.
• Dash: X or O.
• Looking down: Hold the down arrow key or S.
